For more than 50 years, the Western Behavioral Sciences Institute (WBSI) has devoted its efforts toward the betterment of society, the strengthening of democracy and the enrichment of life for all. Because of its commitment to these goals and its status as an independent institute, WBSI has long had a reputation for its cutting edge programs in the fields of education and social design, and its pioneering work in the formation of influential communities of distinguished leaders.

The centerpiece of its programs is the International Leadership Forum, a global network of more than 80 of the world’s top scholars, educators, scientists, economists, journalists, philosophers, anthropologists, psychologists, architects, designers, university presidents and corporate leaders who deliberate in residential and online conferences about the vital issues of our time.

Following in the tradition of its groundbreaking School of Management and Strategic Studies, and its history of creative research, WBSI continues to design innovative new approaches to meet today’s critical challenges.

Founded in 1958 in La Jolla, California, WBSI is an independent, non-profit 501(c)3 organization supported by foundations, government agencies, corporations, and private donations.
